ABIM is pleased to announce openings on several Approval Committees for initial two-year terms beginning July 1, 2025, with the option to renew up to two times. Applications are due Friday, January 10, 2025.
ABIM Approval Committees are responsible for approving all assessment content and maintaining the blueprints for Certification, Maintenance of Certification (MOC) and the Longitudinal Knowledge Assessment (LKA®) in Internal Medicine and its subspecialties. As such, they play a crucial role in defining their respective disciplines.

Approval Committees are composed 100% of practicing physicians, experts in their field and dedicated volunteers who are passionate about the practice of medicine and shaping assessment to reflect the way internists and specialists practice.
