In honor of Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) Awareness Month, which is observed in November, ABIM is proud to partner with the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) to offer this webinar discussion featuring PH physicians and Colleen Connor, member of ABIM’s Pulmonary Disease Board.

About the Participants:

Colleen Connor is a patient advocate and volunteer living with pulmonary arterial hypertension, as well as a breast cancer survivor. She serves as a member of the PHA Board of Trustees, the PHA Development Committee and the PHA Strategic Planning Committee, and volunteers as a PHA Support Group Leader. She has served as a patient member of the Pulmonary Disease Board since 2022. (Read more about Ms. Connor here.)

Matt Granato, LL.M., MBA, is the President and Chief Executive Officer of PHA.

Daniel Grinnan, MD, is an Associate Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine, Director of the Pulmonary Hypertension Center of Comprehensive Care, Pulmonary Hypertension Program at VCU Medical Center and Chair of PHA’s Pulmonary Hypertension Care Centers Review Committee.

Joel Wirth, MD, CM, FCCP, is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine in Portland, Maine, Director Emeritus of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Maine Medical Center, former chair of PHA’s Pulmonary Hypertension Care Centers Board of Directors and a former member of the PHA Scientific Leadership Council and PHA Board of Trustees.

Delphine Yung, MD, is a Professor of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Washington School of Medicine Board, Director of the Pulmonary Hypertension Center of Comprehensive Care at Seattle Children’s Hospital and Chair of the PHA Accreditation & Registry Committee. She is Board certified in Pediatric Cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics.
