Let Your Voice Be Heard: The Vision Commission Draft Report is Open for Public Comment

The Vision Initiative is an effort to assess the current state of continuing board certification and envision its framework for the future. Convened by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), a Vision Commission was formed that includes physicians, professional medical organizations, national specialty and state medical societies, hospitals and health systems, the general public and patients, and the 24 Member Boards of ABMS.

The Commission has spent the last several months hearing comment from various stakeholders across the spectrum of health care professionals, and recently published a draft report: The Continuing Board Certification: Vision for the Future Commission that is open for public comment until January 15.
