“We are so thankful to of the all of the physicians who volunteered their time to work with ABIM staff to enhance our website and portal,” said ABIM President and CEO Richard J. Baron, MD. “I am proud of the entire team who worked to make our online experience more simple and seamless for everyone who visits our site.”
Watch the video below to learn about five things you need to know about the new and improved ABIM.org.
#5 It’s responsive. Thirty percent of all traffic to ABIM.org comes from mobile devices. So making sure that this new website was accessible from any device was a no-brainer.
#4 It was made with you in mind. Over 250 diplomates were surveyed about the utility of ABIM’s old website and how it could be improved. We also recruited six practicing physicians to serve on a Physician Advisory Panel and work with us over 10 months to develop the new website and Physician Portal.
#3 Find multi-media resources to help you throughout your certification journey. The new website is equipped with infographics, charts, and videos to help you understand new program enhancements and other requirements, no matter your learning style.
#2 The new Physician Portal features new drop-down tabs with notifications to help you keep track of your Maintenance of Certification requirements. No more rooting around lists of links to find what you’re looking for; all you need is now on the landing page of our new and improved Physician Portal. After signing in to abim.org, you will find clearly-labeled tabs with personalized notifications to help you determine what you need to do next to obtain or maintain your certification(s).
#1 You can now use your email to login instead of hunting down your ABIM ID. But first! If you don’t remember (or don’t have access) to the email we have on file for you, contact us. Send your Name, ABIM ID, and the Email you’d prefer to use to firstname.lastname@example.org. We’ll respond with information to help you complete the sign-in process.
